Community Is Our Strength

PrivacySafe projects are Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) with a global community of developers and contributors. The 3NWeb Protocols are hosted at IEEE SA Open, ensuring global governance and transparent development. The security of our software benefits from continuous testing and auditing by experts around the world.

PrivacySafe Foundation exists to support open standards, research, and ecosystem development for privacy-respecting technologies. Our focus is upstream: specifications, public-interest tooling, documentation, and collaboration that strengthens a software and hardware ecosystem. Commercial products and services are developed separately by independent entities, including Ivy Cyber in the USA, 3NSoft in Canada, and Kuip Limited in the EU.

Our Team

PrivacySafe Foundation was founded by a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and public-interest advocates dedicated to advancing privacy, security, and digital decentralization. Our leadership includes cybersecurity researcher Sean O’Brien of Yale Law School, blockchain educator Sheree Ip of Curtin Law School, and engineer Mikalai Birukou.

Working with contributors across four continents, we develop open technologies, research, and educational initiatives that empower individuals worldwide. Our efforts support the Ivy Cyber Academy curriculum and the PrivacySafe ecosystem of secure, privacy-by-design software and hardware.
